Depuis plusieurs décennies, les plaines agricoles ont vu le nombre de leur petite faune des champs et des prairies diminuer de manière spectaculaire.
Ce rapport décrit le déclin de la biodiversité dans les champs et les prairies en Europe et la manière dont l’Union Européenne a réagi en adoptant une législation relative à la nature et en développant une stratégie de l’UE en faveur de la biodiversité, même si ces dernières n’ont pas toujours été couronnées de succès.
